New Zealand's premier youth football tournament — three days of world-class competition for the next generation of the game.
Proudly hosted by Hibiscus Coast AFC at Stanmore Bay Park, the Auckland Champions Cup brings clubs and representative teams from across the country together for three days of world-class competition. This inaugural event is the first chapter in what we hope becomes an annual celebration of youth football — and every team that takes part will be part of that story from the very beginning.
The format is simple: three days, six games, one champion. Every team is guaranteed a minimum of six matches plus finals, across nine age divisions from 8th to 17th Grade. Beyond the football, we've built the kind of experience young players deserve — qualified officials, livestreamed matches, real-time results, and a finals day worth remembering — all underpinned by a strong commitment to fair play and sportsmanship.
Organised by SGM, in partnership with Hibiscus Coast AFC — drawing on years of tournament experience to deliver something New Zealand youth football can be proud of.

Tournament Format

The Auckland Champions Cup is structured to give every team maximum game time and a real shot at the title.
Friday Twilight- Optional
Group Stage
First matches of the tournament under lights. Establish your position and set the tone for the cup. Requests can be made to not play on Friday evening if unable to travel.
Saturday
Group Stage
Continued group play. Every result matters as teams battle for their place in Finals Day.
Sunday
Finals Day
The stage is set. The best teams compete for the Auckland Champions Cup in every age group.
Every team is guaranteed a minimum of six matches, plus finals- ensuring a full and worthwhile tournament experience for every squad.
